Nufloors over the years has done all sorts of jobs all over the country, but I must say that the job on this week would be up there as one of the hardest we have had to do. Follow our process as our floor sanders work our way through the week on this solid wooden floor to a finished job.

Day one. Monday.
One would expect that a well-oiled plan would come together perfectly. Yeah right. The importance of making sure that your floor sander has access to power. Needless to say that after a rocky start we were under way.
Wrong again. Unfortunately, the before photos don't do this floor justice. Like 24 of the world's best ninjas fighting Jackie Chan, the 24 grit we were using was getting a beating. After seven cuts across the wooden flooring, we gave up for the day.

Day two. Tuesday.
Like Jackie Chan all covered in blood we came back fighting. 16 grit was the order of the day. Two cuts across four hundred meters of one of the worst solid timber floors done by us and we won the fight.
Day three. Wednesday.
Having won the fight yesterday with the 16 grit it was back to a 24 grit. Two cuts later and we finally got to where we wanted to be with a bit of help from the other team members. We left the floor epoxied and ready for the next day. ( Refer to the photos with black filler)

Day four. Thursday.
One could say we were on the money. Not yet. One would think that Jackie Chan being a legend could win so could we, not quite. With best 40 grit in the flooring industry at our side, we couldn't sand the epoxy off. So it was back to 24 grit. Having done that we then sanded on and just about finished the fine sanding by knock off time. We are legends. Like Jackie Chan, we finally kicked butt.
Day five. Friday.
After having been given a good hiding this week by this floor, we decided on a more relaxing approach to the day with a bit of big machining and spinning left to do on this just hardwood floor. We decided to take it easy and finish all the bits and pieces leaving Monday to disc and coat the timber flooring with a water based polyurethane.
